TREKKING MOUNT KENYA

A trek on the equator. You will be surrounded by a breathtaking landscape: a mosaic of forests, rocks, and ice. A unique nature for flora and fauna of which some endemic to Mt Kenya such as the giant Lobelia or the very rare antelope Bongo.

A real walking safari where even at 3500 meters you can meet the beautiful colobus, baboons, elephants, buffaloes, and the elusive mountain leopard as well as a large variety of birds.

The trek starts in Nanyuki where we will reach the entrance of the park at ‘Sirimon gate’ which gives its name to the route that will take us to the summit point Lenana. The descent will be made by the path Naro Moru.
