TURKANA BIKE EXPEDITION

This is an adventure of a lifetime.
You will ride in some of the most remote areas in Northern Kenya.
We shall pass through nomadic areas to the Jade Sea also know as Lake Turkana.
It is the world’s largest permanent lake and the world’s largest alkaline lake. We shall also ride trough the Chalbi desert.
The desert is believed to have been a lake that dried up a thousand years ago therefore the name Chalbi, which means ‘bare and salty’ in the Gabbra dialect.
This adventure is not over until we get to the Samburu National reserve, rich in
wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern specialist species.
